Amid the worsening flood situation, the Director of Colleges Lahore Division has issued a notification declaring the closure of several educational institutions for two days, August 29 and 30, 2025.

Colleges Affected in Lahore Division

A total of 16 colleges will remain closed due to heavy flooding. The affected institutions include those situated in Shahdara, Chung, and Band Road within Lahore city. In addition, colleges located in Sharqpur Sharif, Ferozewala, Khanqah Dogran, and Narang Mandi are also covered under the directive.

  • In Nankana Sahib, institutions in Mandi Faizabad and Syedwala will stay closed.

In a separate development, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the postponement of its examinations in light of the ongoing floods. The commission stated that revised dates will be issued once the situation normalizes.
